Small businesses in America face monumental challenges in 2013, with even greater ones arising over the horizon. Their future (and yours) is limited by either scarce or abundant levels of hard physical and soft resources. Among them are the mental and emotional challenges to their courage, imagination, hope, financial abilities, and perhaps most important — the reality of the new marketplace.
This means that every independent garden centre has to honestly and vigorously assess what they are doing and how they are doing business. More importantly, they (and you) must identify and act on their particular opportunities whether more limited or expanded. What are they? What will you do with them?
Imagine then that a select group limited to only 35 independent garden retailers from Canada and USA are brought together by two thought leaders on the future of their industry in a unique forum designed to help retailers discover together a new vision — a new path to the future. They will develop new strategies for the future for their businesses, and for their industry. Imagine you are among them. Or imagine you are not.
Being with a group of retailers is infectious, only when you are with the best (not just the biggest) among them can you really become better as an individual business person or business.
This workshop WILL be limited to 35 decision makers in the industry. YOU WILL NEED TO DECIDE TO ATTEND NOW.
The NEW VISION FORUM has been designed as a two day event for developing opportunities and ideas into strategies, objectives, and plans. This format ensures that you and your business are moving in the right direction to both protect the future and growth of your business in 2013 and beyond.
What are the Objectives?
- Share trends, ideas, and practical solutions from two of the world’s garden retail thought leaders.
- Leverage the mind power of the best of the best retailers.
- Uncover hidden opportunities and discover new ones.
- Challenge the status quo and incremental improvement which is just as limiting given the challenges we face.
- To empower and enable individuals to develop their business and the independent garden industry.
- Free flow of thinking away from tradeshows, vendors, and other distractions.
- To develop strategies amongst a leading group of 35 retailers to develop the industry as a group.
This two day workshop is supported by OFA and is only by invitation to leading retail thinkers in the industry.
The two days are lead by John Stanley and Sid Raisch, who will provide an in-depth international and national perspective of the industry in a forum designed for constructive sharing and action-oriented thought development.
